Simultaneous interpreting from and into English
I interpret at the same time as the speaker — from a booth, through consoles and the participants’ receivers, or in the interpretation channel of an online platform. The event keeps its pace: no extra time for interpretation is needed.

When you need it
- Large conferences and forums with a tight programme where speeches cannot take twice as long.
- Board of Governors meetings, ministerial conferences, plenary sessions of international organisations.
- Rooms where the audience speaks different languages: each listener picks a channel.
How I work
- Two interpreters work in the booth and take turns every 15–30 minutes. This keeps attention and accuracy up all day and rests the voice.
- The interpretation runs a few seconds behind the speaker; listeners hear it in headphones or in the interpretation channel.
- Before the event I build a glossary from the programme and the speakers’ materials and check names and titles with the organiser.
What I need from the organiser
- Programme, list of speakers, slides and speeches.
- Booth, consoles and receivers — or the contractor responsible for them.
- A second interpreter in the booth for the whole event.
